The DCR-TRV19 is small, easy to use, has excellent low light sensitivity, and is a real bargain buy these days. The DCR-TRV22 has the same performance and size but a few more frills, such as a color viewfinder, Memory Stick slot for saving photos and low-res videos, and an AV-input feature for capturing analog composite and S-Video sources.
